Shumba camp, located in the spectacular Busanga Plains of Kafue National Park, northern Zambia, is a fantastic spot for wildlife photography. Imagine this scenario: leaving Livingstone airport on the wings of Sefofane Cessna (3pm), landing at Busanga airstrip (5 pm), switching to helicopter (5:03 pm), taking a few aerial photos on the way, landing and dropping luggage in Shumba Camp (5:15), leaving by Land Rover for the plains of Kafue National Park (5:17) - and finally, at 5:30 photographing pride of lions up close and personal. It cannot be any easier.
