Shumba Camp is located in the centre of the Busanga Plains in the Kafue National Park, home to numerous lechwe, puku, wildebeest, zebra, buffalo as well as wild dog, cheetah and prides of lion. It was completely rebuilt by Wilderness Safaris and reopened in June 2007 as their top class safari camp. The camp comprises six luxury safari tents on raised platforms standing on an island of majestic fig trees. The camp overlooks vast floodplains in all directions. Arrival by helicopter only adds to overall experience. For more information, visit Wilderness Safaris website.
